The location of the hotel is great, just a short walk away from the center of town and the main beach. It is also conveniently located near various grocery stores and restaurants. the hotel provides clean and comfortable bedrooms with ample storage space and a safe. the bathrooms have modern rain-type shower heads, adding to the overall comfort of the stay. the hotel offers a secure, gated area with 24/7 security, providing a safe environment.

Some guests have reported that the kitchen only has the bare minimum in terms of equipment and that the beds are not the most comfortable.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with easy access to the beach, town, and activities. Guests appreciated being able to walk to the center of town and the beach within a short distance. the outdoor kitchen space was a highlight, allowing guests to enjoy cooking and dining outside. the one-bedroom unit on the top floor provided privacy and plenty of natural light.

Safe, gated complex with pool and easy beach access. Responsive host, functional kitchen and clean bathrooms. Plenty of storage and clean drinking water. Comfortable beds and "rain" shower heads. Authentic Mexican atmosphere with roosters and morning doves.

Cristy was an absolute gem, always quick to respond and went above and beyond to fulfill our requests. The apartment had everything we needed, including AC in the bedrooms, and the pool area with ocean views was incredible. The location was perfect - close enough to downtown but away from the crowds. The gated community felt safe and the beach access was a bonus. Our stay here was fantastic!

The location was fantastic, right by the beach! The communication with the manager was excellent, she was very proactive and attentive to our needs. She even allowed us to have a late checkout so we could relax and not feel rushed. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were lovely. We also enjoyed the concept of the outdoor kitchen, it added a unique touch to our stay.

The description of the property was misleading, as it was categorized as a house when it was actually an apartment in a villa with a community pool. Additionally, the fact that pets were only allowed on the first floor apartment was not made clear in the advertisement.

I had an amazing time during my stay at Casa Kanelo! The communication with the manager was excellent, as she was proactive and attentive to all our needs. She even waited for us outside upon our arrival to ensure we found the place easily. The location was perfect, right by the beach in a safe and comfortable area. The host, Cristy, was truly exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She was quick to respond to our questions and even arranged extra amenities for us, like a fan and beach towels. The apartment itself was well-equipped, with air conditioning in the bedrooms and a great pool overlooking the ocean. Despite a few minor issues like a faulty coffee machine and limited cleaning during our stay, I would highly recommend Casa Kanelo. it was a fantastic experience!
